OBITUARY

Janet Louise Doseck, 77, of rural New Bremen, OH died 1:34 a.m. Thursday January 8, 2026 at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born February 22, 1948 in Amarillo, TX to Tomie and Lora (McPheters) Flanigan.

On June 1, 1990 she married James E. Doseck, who died February 9, 2023.

Son Billy Ray (Carmen) Damron of Lima, OH

Son Cliff (Delight) Damron of St. Marys, OH

son Larry (Michelle) DiScenza of Santa Clarita, CA

step-son Rev. Kevin (Carol) Doseck of Montpelier, OH

step-daughter Tonja Doseck-Baker of St. Marys, OH

step-son James (Teresa) Doseck of Wapakoneta, OH

Grandchildren: Tommy, Ethan, Gavin (Kenzee), Keaton, Channing, Cameron, Madison, Connor; Sara (Chris) Lamarr, Chris (Jo) Doseck, Paul (Monica) Doseck, Markus Baker , A.J. Baker, Rachel (Cody) Hart

brother Larry Davis of California

Preceded in death by:

parents Tomie and Lora Flanigan; husband James Doseck; grandson Shane Fetter; brother David Flanigan; sister Betty Fry; sister Wanda Gaines; sister Rose Dennie

She was a graduate of Upland, CA High School (Class of 1966).

Janet retired from Plasti-Pak Corp. in Jackson Center, OH where she worked as a clerk in the shipping/receiving department.

Her favorite pastimes included going out for lunch, shopping and caring for her pet cats.

Funeral Rites are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday January 12, 2026 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. The Rev. Kevin Doseck will officiate the services.

Visitation 4 - 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home on High Street.
