James R. Gilbert

James R. Gilbert, 65, of St. Marys. Twp. in Auglaize Co., OH died 1:16 p.m. Saturday November 2, 2019 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born September 18, 1954 in Portland, IN to John and Thelma ( Green) Gilbert.

On January 5, 1980, he married Sharon Kaye Phillippe, who survives.

He was a contractor, specializing in the field of telephone service and fiber optics installation.

His favorite pastimes included watching NASCAR and fishing on Lake Erie.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday November 6, 2019 at the Miller Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.

Visitation 3 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
