Jacqueline Rose Knous, 89, of Celina, Ohio, died 8:45 A.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Mercer Health Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born March 11, 1936, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Fannie (Clark) Hoselton.
She married James Knous, Sr. on March 13,1954, in Portland, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2013.
She is survived by her children: Peggy (Brad) Hull of Celina; James (Nikki) Knous, Jr. of Celina; David (Sharon) Knous of Celina; Stacy (Kevin) Germann of Eureka, South Dakota.
She is survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Joanne Dammeyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Knous, Sr.; her siblings: Joyce Martin, Charles Hoselton, Lloyd Hoselton, Jerry Hoselton; her granddaughter, Heather Brackman.
Mrs. Knous was a 1954 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She was a homemaker and retired as a teller at Mercer Savings Bank.
She was a member of Mt. Tabor Church of God in Celina and she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4-6 P.M. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial gifts may be given to CALL Food Pantry.
