Jackie Lee Copsey, 89, of St. Marys, OH died 9:20 a.m. Monday May 18, 2026 at his residence.

He was born December 7, 1936 in Auglaize Co., OH.

Survivors include:

widow Judith Ann (Taylor) Copsey of St. Marys, OH

son Danny Copsey 

son Douglas (Roberta) Copsey of Panama City, FL

daughter Kathleen Musser of Elida, OH

daughter Kelly Armitage of Morris, IL

step-daughter Deborah Crider of Van Wert, OH

step-daughter Tammi Ramsey-Warner of Kenton, OH

numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren 

sister Mary Turner of Harrisonburg, VA

brother-in-law Albert Harruff of Wapakoneta, OH

Preceded in death by: 

mother Bertha Copsey; sister Sally Harruff; sister Sharon Hogrefe; step-son James Eldridge

He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1955).

A union warehousing specialist, he was employed by Sot Lad Foods in Lima, OH for many years.

Jack was a talented musician and vocalist, he played guitar (bass and rhythm) and sang for the enjoyment of many in his band known as “J.C & Co.”

His favorite pastimes included golfing and riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle.
