Glenn “Captain” Leo Lemire, 63, of Arlington, Ohio, passed away 1:26 a.m. Saturday August 30th, 2025 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, OH.
He was born on March 9th, 1962, in Upper Sandusky, OH to R. Norman and Roxanna M. (McCarley) Lemire, who preceded him in death.
On September 27, 1986 in Findlay, OH he married Jean Ann (Weber) Lemire, who survives.

He was a graduate of Vanlue High School (Class of 1980).
A veteran of the United States Army, Glenn proudly served his countery in 14th Engineering Battalion as a construction equipment operator.
He retired from Cooper Tire Mfg Co. in Findlay, where he worked as a tire builder for 35 years.
He attended Redeemer Covenant Church in Arlington.
Glenn was a man of many hobbies. His favorite pastimes included fishing, bee-keeping, birdwatching and grilling out. A true homesteader, he strived to live a life of self-sufficiency. He had volunteered as a leader for Trail Life and Cub Scouts for a number of years. Above everything else, he treasured the time spent with his family.
Funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6th, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home 205 W. Sandusky Street in Findlay, OH. Military funeral honors will be conducted at the funeral home immediately following the services.
Visitation hours will be held on Friday, September 5th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Final resting place is Maple Grove Cemetery in Findlay, OH.
