Obituary
Glenn C. Norman, age 67, of St. Marys Township (Villa Nova on-the-Lake) in Auglaize County, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at his residence.
He was born July 25, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, to Toby and Ella Mae (Steele) Norman.
On June 2, 1979, in Chattaroy, West Virginia, he married Amy L. Brotherwood, who survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Elizabeth A. (Jordan) Slusher of Celina, Ohio, and his son, Toby (Kerry) Norman of Westerville, Ohio. His grandchildren include Katelyn Young, Eleanora Luth, Caleb Norman, Landyn Heiser, and Chloe Slusher, with another grandson expected in April 2026. He also leaves behind one great-grandson, Damian Minges-Dejesus, and his sisters, Mary (Jake) Trevino of North Baltimore, Ohio, and Patty Wilson of Williamson, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandmother, Lucy Steele, who raised him; and his sister, Betty Finley.
Glenn was a 1977 graduate of Williamson High School in Williamson, West Virginia. A welder by trade, he spent many years working in the manufacturing industry, including at CROWN in Celina, Ohio.
He was a longtime member of ABATE of Ohio Region 3. The MRF (Motorcycle Riders Foundation), and a big supporter of the military, which included his son and daughter. Glenn enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, working on projects in his garage, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others, his sarcasm and the love he had for his grandchildren.
Funeral rites will begin at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High Street, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 noon, all at the funeral home on High Street.
Attendees are encouraged to dress casually for both the visitation and the funeral.
