OBITUARY
 

Galen Ray Ball, 60, of Villa Nova (St. Marys Twp.) in Auglaize Co., OH died 11:42 a.m. Tuesday August 6, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.

He was born March 25, 1964 in St. Marys, OH to Don Ramon and Thelma Jean (Moody) Ball.

On August 8, 2015 in St. Marys, OH he married Judith D. North, who survives.

Also survived by: twin daughters Emma and Journey Ball of St. Marys, OH

                            son Shawn Cox of New Bremen, OH

                            son Joshua Cox of St. Marys, OH

                            daughter Ronica Perez of Celina, OH

                            son Aaron Perez of St. Marys, OH

                            several grandchildren

                            mother Thelma Jean Ball of St. Marys, OH

                            sister Brenda Jenkins of Celina, OH

Preceded in death by: father Don Ramon Ball

He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1983).

A press operator, he worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys for 36 Years.

He attended the First Baptist Church in St. Marys.

An avid outdoorsman, his favorite pastimes included camping, fishing, riding around in his golf cart and piloting his pontoon boat on Grand Lake St. Marys.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Pastor Keith Stuck will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
