Floyd Austin Frieszell, 49, of St. Marys Twp. (Villa Nova-on-the-Lake) in Auglaize Co., OH, died 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at his residence.

He was born July 23, 1976, in Dayton, OH.

Mother Sylvia Severt of St. Marys Twp., OH

Grandmother Dora Frieszell of Lewisburg, OH

Sister Sherrie (Chad Simon) Frieszell of Lewisburg, OH

Sister Bridgett (Zach Yahl) Severt of Fairborn, OH

Sister Ashley (Trent) Tatham of Bowling Green, OH

Nephew Dalton Adkins, Niece Kiley Adkins

Stepfather Dale Severt 

He was a graduate of Tri-County North High School (Class of 1994) in Preble Co., OH.

A professional truck driver, he hauled every type of freight imaginable.

Floyd will be remembered for his terrific sense of humor and his kindness and consideration to others. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating on Grand Lake St. Marys. His favorite sports teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.

Private family services will be held.
