Ernest W Wurster

Ernest W. Wurster, 87, of Saint Marys, died 11:53 A.M. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Everheart Hospice in Greenville.

He was born March 30, 1935, in Saint Marys, the son of Marguerite (Gasson) and Ernest Wurster.

He married Mooneen Lutterbeck on January 6, 1962; she survives in Saint Marys.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ernie was a 1954 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He served in the US Army and retired from Superior Tube Company in Wapakoneta. He was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in Saint Marys, and also VFW Post 9289, American Legion Post 323 and Eagle’s Lodge 767.

Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Rhonda Hainer, officiant. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
