OBITUARY

Dennis L. Kugler, 89, of St. Marys, OH died 9:28 a.m. Monday December 11, 2023 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

He was born February 2, 1934 in Jamestown, IN to Gerald and Clarabelle (Parsons) Kugler.

He was first married to Janice Engle. He later married Sondra Dunlap-Boomershine.

Survivors include: daughter Kathy Hadding of Elida, OH

                              daughter Charlotte Holleger of Rawson, OH

                              daughter Cheryl Kugler of Lima, OH

                              a caring and supportive stepson Tom (Glenda) Boomershine of St. Marys, OH

                              13 grandchildren    numerous great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by: father Gerald Kugler; mother Clarabelle Kugler-Kuck; first wife Janice Kugler-Henderson; second wife Sondra Boomershine-Kugler; son Robert Kugler; grandson Tony Kugler; son-in-law Victor Hadding; son-in-law Wayne Holleger

He served in the Ohio National Guard.

A retired production employee, he worked many years for the Huffy Bicycle Manufacturing Co. in Celina, OH.

He was a member of VFW Post # 9289 and Eagles Lodge Aerie # 767, both in St. Marys.

His favorite pastimes included riding his scooter to the local clubs to “sign the book” and socialize with other members.

A Time of Sharing and Remembrance for family and friends is scheduled for 4 - 6 p.m. on Friday December 22, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
