Denise Schuller Wilson, 67, of New Knoxville, died 1:06 A.M. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 6, 1957, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Marvin and Lois (Meckstroth) Schuller.
She married David Wilson on October 13, 1989, and he survives in New Knoxville.
She is also survived by her step-son, Nathan (Julia Polito) Wilson of Moscow, Idaho; by her grandchildren: Madelyn and Tyler Wilson. She is also survived by her father–in-law, Don Wilson; by her sister-in-law, Debbie (Bruce) Craig.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Mike Schuller.
Denise graduated from New Knoxville High School in 1975. She was also a graduate of Edison State Community College. She retired from Elmwood Retirement Center in New Bremen, where she was an LPN.
Denise was a talented artist who also enjoyed sewing and knitting. She was a great wilderness cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of American Legion Post 444 Auxiliary.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Tory Breitigan, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Grand Lake Hospice.
