OBITUARY
Cynthia Susan Hopson, 67, of Findlay, OH died 3:54 p.m. Sunday May 31, 2026 at The Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus, OH.
She was born March 27, 1959 in Fostoria, OH to Robert and Nettie (Shook) Banks, Sr.
Survivors include:
husband Jerry Hopson of Findlay, OH
daughter Chastity (John) Nicholson of Gallipolis, OH
daughter Tabatha (Shane) Grossman of Findlay, OH
7 grandchildren: Holden Banks, Jordan Kidd, Sierra Kidd, Jocelyn McKenzie, Trevor Bowman, Jarrod Bowman, Colleen Grossman
8 great-grandchildren
step-son Joey Hopson of Lima, OH
step-daughter Amanda Hopson of Lima, OH
3 step-grandchildren: Dalton, Colton, Kenzington
sister Mary (Stefen) Partlow
brother Robert (Janet) Banks, Jr.
brother Daniel (Phyllis) Banks
brother John (Carol) Banks
brother William (Shari) Banks
half-sister Sharon Brewington
numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved as much as her own children

She attended Hopewell Loudon High School.
She was a retired production employee retiree from the Consolidated Biscuit Co. in McComb, OH after many years of service.
Cindy treasured the times spent with her family creating countless memories. An avid sports fan, she particularly enjoyed rooting for The OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football teams.
Funeral Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday June 5, 2026 at the Hanneman Funeral Home 201 Osborn Ave. in Findlay, OH.
Visitation 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Knollcrest Cemetery near Arcadia, OH.
