Cliff Thompson

Cliff Thompson, 80, of Saint Marys, Ohio, died at 10:40 P.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St Ritas Medical Center, following a brief illness. 

He was born November 28, 1944, in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Willie and Mossie (Miracle) Thompson.

He married Vickie Rae Hammond on September 22, 1972; she survives in Saint Marys.

He is also survived by his children: Stacy (Joseph) Perin of Saint Marys; Chad (Trish) Thompson of Piqua, Ohio; Cliff (Tracey) Thompson of Maria Stein,Ohio; Matt Thompson of Celina; Virginia (Ken) Nuding of Hillsboro, Ohio; Danny Bergdorf of Saint Marys. He is survived by his siblings: Willine Kinstle of Wapakoneta; Virginia Franks of New Knoxville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by his children: Sheila Bell and Bob Thompson; by a grandson, Adam Thompson.

Cliff was self-employed construction contractor, and he had also previously worked at Howard Schultz Construction and also Hoenie and Kogge Construction.

A celebration of Cliff’s life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. Burial will be held at a later date in Pineville, Kentucky.

Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
