Cleora Bernice (Brown) Burger

OBITUARY

Cleora B. Burger, 81, of St. Marys, OH died 1:09 a.m. Monday April 1, 2024 at Heritage Nursing Center in Minster, OH.

She was born October 29, 1942 in St. Marys, OH to Bevan and Catherine (Bricker) Brown.

Her husband of 66 years, James K. Burger, survives her.

Also survived by: son Thomas (Penny) Burger of Illinois City, IL

                            4 grandchildren: Benjamin (Susan) Burger, Abigail (Shawn) Jackson, Stephen Burger, Kenneth Burger

                            8 great-grandchildren: Kendall, Holly, Rose, Ares, Atlas, Braedyn, Ben, Autumn

                            brother Roy Azbell of Botkins, OH

Preceded in death by: parents Bevan and Catherine Brown; infant granddaughter Allie Burger; brother Fred Azbell; sister Annabelle McCollum

A homemaker, she also worked as a sales representative for Avon. In addition, she created and sold ceramic items and delicious chocolate candies.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 2: 00 p.m. on Thursday April 4, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Private interment will take place later at the Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.

Visitation 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
