Christina (Sharp) Hornic

Christina Sharp Hornic, of St. Marys, OH passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Monday June 1, 2020 in the ICU of the James Hospital of The OSU Medical Center in Columbus, OH.

After a long battle with Lupus, she passed away due to respiratory failure, at the age of 52.

She is survived by her two daughters: Rebecca Hornic and Chelsea Hornic; granddaughter Annabelle Komminsk; former husband Michael Hornic; sister Katrina Sharp; sister Constance Brown; sister Kimberly Sharp; numerous nieces and nephews and great- nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Evelyn Meeks; father Roger Sharp, Sr.; mother Shirley Watkins; brother Roger Sharp, Jr.

Christina was a family-oriented person who loved spending time with family members, especially Annabelle, who was the light of her life.

Music was always a passion of hers and she was a "Parrot Head" for life. She was an avid reader,and enjoyed watching movies and true-crime shows on television.

She graduated from Shawnee High School/Apollo Career Center in 1985. Always in the pursuit of knowledge, she received her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2010.

She was a "Mom" to every kid that her daughters brought around. Christina touched so many people's lives, and left each of them better and brighter.

Corinthians 13:7-8, "Love bears all things, believes all things, endures all things, Love never ends".

Due to the current restrictions in regard to the Corona virus, private services for family and close friends will be held.
