Cheryl Ann (Carpenter) Newberry

Cheryl Ann Newberry, 69, of St. Marys, OH passed away 11:47 a.m. Friday December 31, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born June 18, 1952 in St. Marys, OH to Howard and Rachel (Russell) Carpenter.

On March 18, 1994, she married Anthony Newberry, who survives.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1970).

A homemaker, she had retired from Walmart in Celina, OH where she worked as a sales associate.

Her favorite pastimes included playing BINGO and taking walks in nature. More than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with her family!

Graveside funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday January 12, 2022 at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Marion Hicks will officiate the services.

Friends are invited to the VFW Post #9289 in St. Marys following the services to share in a time of food and fellowship.
