Charles Richard Jones, 59, of Van Wert, OH died 4:31 a.m. Friday March 1, 2024 in the emergency department of Van Wert Co. Hospital.

He was born January 3, 1965 in Bluffton, IN.

Survivors include:  son Andrew Jones of Bluffton, IN

                              daughter Alisha (Blaine) Foreman of Bluffton, IN

                              4 grandchildren: Kaeden Jones, Khloe Jones, Chloe Richmond, Myles Therrian

                              mother Ethel Flowers of Celina, OH

                              sister Lisa (Charlie) Skeens of St. Marys, OH

                              sister Sheila (Kevin) Moore of Bluffton, IN

                              brother Kenny (Beth) West of Bluffton, IN

                              2 nephews    4 nieces

                              significant other and soulmate Rhonda Eller of Van Wert, OH

Preceded in death by: father Richard Allen Jones; 2 grandchildren: Skylier and Gabriel

He had worked as a production employee at several factories.

His favorite pastimes included vegetable gardening and specialized indoor horticulture. Charles had a special bond with nature and loved caring for his chickens or any injured animal.

A time for sharing and remembrance of Mr. Jones is scheduled for 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday March 7, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
