Carolyn B. Van Buskirk-Young, 83, of Wapakoneta, OH died 4:15 a.m. Monday December 1, 2025 at Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home.

She was born January 27, 1942 in Kenton, OH to Cleatus A. and Esther B. (Callahan) Dunham.

son Duane (Faye) Van Buskirk of Rushylvania, OH

son Eric (Tonya) Van Buskirk of Kenton, OH

son Brian Van Buskirk of Ridgeway, OH

Grandchildren:

Cody (Bailey) Van Buskirk of Bellefontaine, OH (Atlas, Lyra, Cora)

Amber (Mat) Zickafoose of Kenton, OH (Gracie)

Joshua Van Buskirk of Mt. Victory, OH (Tanner, Sunee, Oliver)

Chance Van Buskirk of Kenton, OH (Zavier, Mary, Bella)

Haley (Ben) Briggs of Ridgeway, OH (Lynnix, Sylas)

Toshia (Adrian Shellenbarger) Van Buskirk of Bellefontaine, OH

Preceded in death by: parents Cleatus and Esther Dunham; husband Raymond Young; brother Robert Dunham; sister Roberta Mummy; nephew Scott Dunham; nephew David Mummy

She was a graduate of the former Rushylvania High School.

She worked as a manager for Fuel City in Anna, OH for many years.

Carolyn was an accomplished seamstress and interior decorator. Her favorite pastimes included crafting with ceramics and floral gardening.
