Carolyn Sue (McKinley) Albert

Carolyn Sue Albert, 85, of Saint Marys, died 10:45 P.M. Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community.

She was born September 24, 1940, in Forest, Ohio, the daughter of Lowell and Mary Ellen “Peg” (Bair) McKinley.

She married Kay Albert on May 29, 1958, in Forest, Ohio, and he survives in Saint Marys.

She is also survived by her children: Lynn (Charles) Burner of Fort Myers, Florida; Lyle (Julie) Albert of Saint Marys; Jeff Albert of Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

She is survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Kane; Kimberly (Ryan) Ramge; Zach (Larissa) Albert; Tyler Albert; Molly (Derek) Rindler; Jon Albert; Drew Albert; Nick Albert. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren:  Landen Kane; Chase Kane, Leah Ramge; Lillian Ramge; Owen Ramge; Claire Albert; Amelia Albert; Harrison Albert. She is survived by her sister, Pat Cramer of Forest, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn was a graduate of Forest High School. She had formerly worked at the Valley Nursing Home, Albert Sporting Goods and at the YMCA Daycare Center.

She was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church in Saint Marys. Carolyn loved caring for her grandchildren when they were young, and often took them shopping for fun. She enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes, spending winters at their condo in Florida; golfing and playing bridge with her friends.

Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be given to Grand Lake Hospice.
