Carol Storer Obituary

Carol Sue Storer, 79, of New Knoxville, Ohio, died 7:52 A.M. Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Lima Memorial Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

She was born May 16, 1946, in Amanda Twp. near Spencerville, Ohio, the daughter of Victor and Margaret (Klima) Kill.

She married Ronald Lee Storer on September 18, 1965, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2024.

She is survived by her daughters: Robin (Robert) Copeland of Wapakoneta; Rae’ Sonya (David) Jaros of Saint Marys; by her grandchildren:  Regina (Cody) Schuckel; Rachel Copeland; Madison (Andrew) Adamski; Michael (fiance’ Morgan Henschen) Jaros; by her great-grandchildren: Jaycee; Bryson; Mackaya; Harrison and Rhyder. 

She is also survived by her siblings: Patricia (John) Cox-Holdgreve of Delphos; Arlene Byer of Wapakoneta; Janet Adams of Cloverdale; Donald Kill of Wapakoneta; Leroy (Judy Wicker) Kill of Lima; by numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Charles Kill; her brothers-in-law Joe Cox, Daniel Adams and Clyde Byer; by her sisters-in-law, Doris Kill and Alice Kill.

Carol was a 1964 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. She had worked at Superior Tube for many years, and retired from Crown Equipment Corporation. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in New Bremen. 

She enjoyed reading and baking and will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends, and will be dearly missed. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
