Carmen Musto Obituary

Carmen Musto, 69, of Saint Marys, Ohio, and formerly of Lima, died 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 23, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

He was born February 26, 1955, in Lima, the son of Reynold and Estella (Wagner) Musto.

He married Cheryl Nagel on June 23, 2001, and she survives in Saint Marys.

He is also survived by his children: Jason (Jessica) Musto of Cincinnati; Nick (Susan) Musto of Lebanon, Ohio; Andrea (Kyle) Howard of Ostrander, Ohio; Rob (Kellie) Kantner of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; Brian (Cori) Kantner of Saint Marys.  Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kennedy; Sydney; Aubrey; Reid, Mila; Bryson; Dylan; Bryce; Brayson; Brylee; Brooklyn; Hunter; Tyler, Sarah, Brodie, Charleston  and Aniston.He is survived by his sisters-in-law Pam Musto of Kentucky; Brenda (Ed) Thobe of New Bremen; Darla (Dave) Kelch of New Bremen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by Cheryl’s parents Stan and Betty Nagel; by a brother, Rennie Musto.

Carmen was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. He retired from Local 24 Sheet Metal Workers’ Union in Dayton, where he served as a business agent.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys. Carmen never knew a stranger and he absolutely loved being with his family and friends. He was famous for his laugh and he enjoyed boating very much. He also enjoyed doing construction projects for his family.

A celebration of Carmen’s life will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024, in the commons area of Sandy Beach.
