OBITUARY

Caleb Joshua Werling, 31, of Muncie, IN died Thursday April 24, 2025 in rural Mercer Co., OH.

He was born June 10, 1993 in St. Marys, OH to Pastor Paul and Lisa (Wale) Werling.

He is survived by:

Parents Pastor Paul and Lisa Werling of Muncie, IN

Brother Adam (Ashley) Werling of Muncie, IN

Sister Jacklyn (Dustin) Redwine of Anderson, IN

Nieces and nephews: Aubrey Redwine, Rylee Redwine, Rowan Redwine, Veda Werling, Levi Werling, 

Maternal grandparents James and Sharon Wale of St. Marys, OH

Preceded in death by:

Paternal grandparents Ronald and Martha Jean Werling

He was a graduate of Muncie Central High School (Class of 2012), and attended Ivy Technical College.

He had worked as a CNC machinist.

Caleb will be remembered as a “gentle giant with a big heart” who enjoyed online gaming, reading, cooking for loved ones, eating sushi, and watching Ohio State Buckeyes Football.

Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Wednesday April 30, 2025 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, OH.

Calling hour from 11am-Noon Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. Thursday May 1, 2025 at the Vermillion Christian Church 9107 N. 500 East in Alexandria, IN.
