Bruce Robert Rain

OBITUARY

Bruce R. Rain, 69, of rural New Knoxville, OH died 5:36 p.m. Monday January 15, 2024 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born October 13, 1954 in El Paso, TX to Robert and Patricia (Puroff) Rain.

Survivors include: son Adam Rain of Centerville, OH

                             mother Patricia Rain of Centerville, OH

                             sister Karen Castonguay of Centerville, OH

                             brother Curt Rain of Trotwood, OH

                             aunt Marian Wellman of New Knoxville, OH

                             close cousin Marianna Darling

                             dear friends and caregivers Dave and Debbie Lauth

                             many other cousins and friends

Preceded in death by: father Robert Rain; daughter Stephanie Rain

He worked as a commercial and residential master electrician (union-certified by ABC Ohio Valley Chapter).

Prior to becoming disabled, he was a robust, active man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing basketball. Bruce was always the "life of the party" who enjoyed dancing, singing and telling jokes. He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor!
