OBITUARY

Brian Keith Powell, 64, of Celina, OH passed away 4:13 a.m. Wednesday October 15, 2025 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH with his loving family at his bedside.

He was born May 22, 1961 in Coldwater, OH to Glenn and Marie (Froning) Powell.

Survivors include:

daughter Kalista (Aaron Chapman) Powell of St. Marys, OH

step-daughter April Hall of Celina, OH

step-son Greg (Abby Knapke) Hall of Celina, OH

step-daughter Christina (Tyler) Weitz of Celina, OH

step-son Jeffrey (Cherish May) Hall of Celina, OH

10 grandchildren

sister Lisa (Kevin Kennedy) Kremer-Kennedy of Coldwater, OH

He attended Coldwater, OH High School. 

Brian worked as a flooring installer, and transported members of the Amish community.

He will be remembered as a happy person with a goofy laugh who treasured the time spent with his family and friends. A musician, he was an accomplished drummer and also played guitar (all musical genres). Brian loved Jesus, and appreciated the beauty of God’s creation.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday October 21, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Pastor Craig Flack will officiate the services.

Visitation 4 - 8 p.m. on Monday and 9 - 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Immediately following the services, all attendees are invited to the First Church of God 850 Fairground Road in Celina, OH to share in food and fellowhip.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family to assist with final expenses.
