OBITUARY

Brenda Louise Burden, 77, of Lima, OH died 12:25 p.m. Thursday October 9, 2025 at her residence.

She was born April 22, 1948 in Carleton, MI to Romain and Virginia (Bondy) Beaudrie.

Survivors include:

son Stephen Young of Sidney, OH

daughter Paula (Drew) Young-Gayer of Cridersville, OH

son Doug Dettrow of Lima, OH

daughter Kimberly Brocklehurst of Lima, OH

6 grandchildren: Brock Young, Brandon Shepherd, Haley Brocklehurst, Megan Brocklehurst, Jordan Brocklehurst, Lindsay Brocklehurst

numerous great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by:

father Romain Beaudrie; mother Virginia Bondy-Karst; grandson Stephen C. Young III

She had worked as a dental hygienist and as a gas station attendant.

Her favorite pastimes included flower gardening, solving word search puzzles, caring for her pets, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs football team and purchasing scratch-off lottery tickets.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.

Visitation 2 - 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
