Betty Jean (Koverman) Huff

Betty Jean Huff, 81, of Saint Marys, died 2:30 A.M. Monday, January 20, 2020, at her residence.

She was born August 20, 1938, in Minster, Ohio, the daughter of Bernard and Bertha (Robbins) Koverman.

She married Charles Huff on June 1, 1959; he preceded her in death on July 27, 2008.

She is survived by her two children: Gary Huff of Saint Marys; Gail (Brad) Maunz of Van Wert.

She is survived by 3 grandchildren: Mark Rothermick of Toledo; Shawn (Krissa) Dorsten of New Knoxville; Allen Dorsten of Saint Marys. She is also survived by her siblings: Bernard Koverman of Newport, Ohio; Carl Koverman of New Bremen.

She was preceded in death by her parents by her brother, Donald Koverman.

Betty retired from Huffy Manufacturing Company. She later worked at St. Marys Blankets and Vanderhorst Canning Factory. She was a member of the former First Wesleyan Church in Saint Marys. Her life revolved around her family and to her great comfort, she was able to live at home with her son and daughter’s care.

Close family and friends will gather at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, one hour prior to the graveside funeral rites.

Graveside funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Elm Grove Cemetery, Saint Marys.
