Beatie (Stanley) Waddle

OBITUARY

Beatrice “Beatie” Waddle, 83, of St. Marys, OH died 2:30 p.m. Sunday February 4, 2024 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born April 16, 1940 in Rockport, IN to Earl and Hazel (Smith) Stanley.

On March 29, 1982, she married Elzie “John” Waddle in Bellefontaine, OH, who died April 29, 2001.

Survivors include:  sister Myrtle Knous of St. Marys, OH

                              brother Steve Stanley of Alabama

                              16 nieces and nephews

                              numerous great-nieces and great-nephews

Preceded in death by: parents Earl and Hazel Stanley; husband Elzie “John” Waddle; brother Newt Stanley; brother Lushie “Blue” Stanley

She was a homemaker and attended the First Church of God in St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included sewing, flower gardening, cooking, caring for her dogs and helping anyone in need.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday February 12, 2024 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, OH.

Visitation 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
