OBITUARY

Alberto M. Cervantes, Jr., 51, of Celina, OH died Monday June 23, 2025 in the emergency department of Community Hospital in Coldwater, OH.

He was born January 1, 1974 in Coldwater, OH to Alberto Cervantes, Sr. and Rebecca Winget. 

On June 4, 2002, he married Sarah Beth (Diedrich) Cervantes, who died in a house fire November 12, 2002.

Brother Chris (Jennifer) Toledo of Berne, IN

Sister Kristina (Chad) Mabry of Celina, OH

Sister Victoria (Brandon Oehlhof) Cervantes of Spencerville, OH

Sister Samantha (Eric) Fleck of Wabash, OH

Step-mother Vanessa Wallace of Celina, OH

Nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by:

Father Alberto M. Cervantes, Sr.; mother Rebecca Winget; wife Sarah Beth Cervantes; grandmother Maria (Moreno) Cervantes; 3 uncles: Juan Vallejo, Jose “Pepe” Cervantes, Raul Cervantes

Alberto was employed at Rodriguez Poultry Services in Celina off and on for many years.

More than anything else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 2, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys, OH.

Visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Wednesday.
