Agnes C. (Hecker) Parlette

OBITUARY

Agnes C. Parlette, 69, of New Bremen, OH died 12:20 a.m. Friday December 27, 2024 at her residence.

She was born November 28, 1955 in Sidney, OH to Jack and Catherine (Graham) Hecker.

She married Stanley Eugene Parlette in Lima, OH in 1994, and he survives at the residence.

Also survived by:  son Steven (Sara) Scherer of Piqua, OH

                             daughter Stephanie Scherer of New Bremen, OH

                             8 grandchildren   8 great-grandchildren

                             sister Cindy (Allen) Stocker of Troy, OH

                             sister Linda (Larry) Hill of St. Marys, OH

                             brother William (Kathy) Hecker of Ft. Worth, TX

 Preceded in death by: parents Jack and Catherine Hecker; brother Terry Hecker

She was a graduate of Covington, OH High School.

Aggie was a long-time employee of Brodbeck's Grocery Store and Chief Supermarket in St. Marys. She had previously worked for the Stillwater News in Covington.

She was one of the “74 Gals” that attended Covington High School together. This group was a tight-knit community of classmates that supported one another and also, shared much laughter.

Her favorite pastimes included making all types of crafts and gardening (floral and vegetable), fishing, boating and caring for her pet cats. More than anything else, she treasured the time spent with her family.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
