Rosellen (Hale) Moore

Rosellen Moore, 80, of 605 Red Oak Drive in St. Marys, OH died 1:35 p.m. Friday May 18, 2018 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born September 6, 1937 in Terra Haute, IN to Leonidus “Bud”  and Winona N. (Certain) Hale.

On June 30, 1989 she married Richard C. Moore, who died August 26, 2007.

Survivors include:  daughter Cynthia Sellers of Florida

                              daughter Sara Sexton of Indianapolis, IN

                              daughter Winona Hicks of Burlington, NC

                              son James Vance of Lafayette, IN

                              step-daughter Vera (Bill) Case of St. Marys, OH

                              sister Alice Sexton of Indianapolis, IN

                              numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Preceded in death by: parents Leonidus “Bud” and Winona Hale; husband Richard Moore; brother Harold Hale

She worked for many years at the lunch counter of the Indianapolis K-Mart and then Big Bear Grocery Store in St. Marys.

Her favorite pastimes included reading, writing letters and listening to music.

Private family funeral services were held.

Burial occurred at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys
