Robert O Adams

Robert O. Adams, 84, of St. Marys, OH died at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday December 2, 2018 at Vancrest of St. Marys, OH.

He was born August 3, 1934 in Belton, SC to Robert and Bessie (Dunn) Adams.

On July 30, 1965 in Tazewell, TN he married Hazel Sharp, who survives.

Also survived by: daughter Kay Bagwell of Easley, SC

                           son Bobby J. Adams of St. Marys, OH

                           daughter Stacy (Paul Gross) Neeley of Sidney, OH

                           10 grandchildren: Cory, Dana, Christopher, David, Tonya, Shyann, Morgan, Andrea, Jayden, Adriana

                           16 great-grandchildren

                            numerous nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by: parents Robert and Bessie Adams; daughter Tammy Brezeale; son James Michael Adams, granddaughter Maddison; brother Archie Adams; sister Ruby Webb; sister Sara Moore; brother Lawrence Edward "Pat" Adams

He was a veteran of both the the United States Army and the United States Air Force.

He was retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad Co.

His favorite pastime was driving his sand-rail dune buggy and talking on his citizen's band radio, with the handle of "Poor Boy."

Funeral rites are scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 6, 2018 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.

Burial, with graveside military honors, will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.

Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday the the funeral home.
