Mary Jane (McComb) Miars

Mary Jane Miars, 88, of Saint Marys, died 5:40 P.M. Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Vancrest of Saint Marys Nursing Home.

She was born March 23, 1930, in Celina, the daughter of Kahle and Elizabeth (Miller) McComb.

She is survived by her children: Thomas (Deborah) Miars of Panama City Beach, Florida; Susan (Ken) Davis of Saint Marys; Linda (John) Klosterman of Saint Marys. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her former husband, Robert Miars; by a son, Steven Miars; by a sister, Ruth Slusser-Bertholf. She was also preceded in death by her longtime friend, Andrew Dixon.

Mary Jane graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Celina, Class of 1948. She retired from Wapakoneta Products.

Mary Jane grew up attending IC Church in Celina, and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys. She liked to go fishing, and loved animals, especially cats.

Private family burial rites will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
