Linda Ann Sampson

Linda Sampson, 80, of Saint Marys, died 6:10 A.M. Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Gardens of Celina.

She was born August 27, 1938, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Norman R. and Ruth (Howe) Sampson.

She is survived by her siblings: Alton (Mary) Sampson of Saint Marys; Diane Gaskill of Van Wert; Susan (David) Hicks of Saint Marys; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brother, Robert Sampson; by her brother-in-law, Terry Gaskill.

Linda was a 1957 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, and retired after many years of service to Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney.

Linda was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed flower gardening. She loved cats!

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Pastor Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to SART (Sue’s Animal Rescue Team) in Saint Marys.
