Kathleen “Kathy” Schwarck, 60, of 18440 Saint Marys River Road, Saint Marys, died 12:18 A.M. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born October 25, 1957, in Lima, the daughter of Claude “Pete” and Barbara (Campbell) Smith.

She married Dennis Schwarck on May 24, 1986, at the Grace United Methodist Church in Saint Marys, and he survives at the residence.

She is also survived by her children: Katie (Brandon) Nevergall of Celina; Matthew Schwarck of Saint Marys. She is survived by her grandchildren: Brandy and Kaine Nevergall.

She is also survived by her siblings: Michael Smith of Lima; Tim (Michelle) Smith of Saint Marys; Susan (Lanny Roberts) Kolsky of Saint Marys; Harry (Karen) Smith of New Bremen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother, Jeff Smith.

Kathy was a 1976 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She had worked at the Saint Marys Cotton Mill, Huffy Manufacturing and Setex. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Saint Marys. She loved crocheting and knitting.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Pastor John Exman, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the family. Condolences may be sent to Kathy’s family via Millerfuneralhomes.net
