Junior Stines

Junior Stines, 77, of St. Marys, OH died 4:45 p.m. Monday September 3, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born March 13, 1941 in London, KY to Noah Luster and Bettie (Turner) Stines.

On July 3, 1965 in Hamilton, OH he married his love of 53 years, Brenda  Estes, who survives.

Also survived by: son Gregory (Patricia) Stines of Fortville, IN

                            daughter Devonna (David) McQueary of Anna, OH

                            4 grandchildren: Jessica ( Garrett) Roberts, Jason Burke,

                                Adam Stines, Matthew (Alley) Stines

                            7 great-grandchildren

                            sister Ruby Parks of Oxford, OH

Preceded in death by: parents Luster and Bettie Stines; seven brothers and sisters

He was a retired production employee from the Wayne Corp. (school bus factory) in Richmond, IN.

He was strong in his faith and a member of the London Community Church in London, KY.

His favorite pastimes included collecting antiques and guns, trading coins and playing card games with his family.

Most notably, Junior was a 23-year fighter of cancer.  

Celebration of Life services are scheduled to begin 12:00 noon Friday September 7, 2018 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with Pastor Elmer Davis, officiating.

Visitation 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Friday at the funeral home.
