Helen “Sis” Hunsaker, 81, formerly of 4249 Frahm Pike in Celina, OH died 12:30 a.m. Saturday February 24, 2018 at Otterbein – St. Marys.
She was born February 17, 1937 in Noble Twp. – Auglaize Co., OH to Fred and Ruth (Johns) Bowers.
On July 2, 1952 she married H. Eugene Hunsaker, who died July 26, 2012.

daughter Peggy (Gilbert) Cotrell of St. Marys, OH

Preceded in death by: parents Fred and Ruth Bowers; husband H. Eugene Hunsaker; daughter Ruth Ann Hunsaker; son Steven Wayne Hunsaker
She attended Noble Twp. and St. Marys City Schools.
A nurses’ aide, she worked many years at the St. Marys Nursing Home and JTDM Hospital. She had also worked as a press operator for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
Her favorite pastimes included traveling, camping, tending her flowers and making ceramic and wood crafts.
She truly loved her husband, Gene, and provided excellent care for him in his later years. She offered support to family and friends throughout her life. Her presence will be sorely missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
Rites are scheduled to begin 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 27, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
Visitation one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
