Donna Marie (Topp) Harmeyer

Donna Marie Harmeyer, 86, formerly of 1710 Fenway Ct., St. Marys, Ohio, died 4:20 a.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018 at St. Marys Living Center, St. Marys, Ohio.  

She was born September 15, 1931 in New Bremen, Ohio to William and Anna (Topp) Topp. On June 18, 1950, she married Robert W. Harmeyer at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, Ohio.  He preceded her in death December 16, 2007.

Donna is survived by four children: Robert Harmeyer, Jr., Daytona Beach, Florida; Kathie Harmeyer, Fairfield, Ohio; Douglas (Cindy) Harmeyer, Chillicothe, Ohio; and Don (Pat) Harmeyer, Burlington, Vermont. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Dustin, Margaret, William and Henry.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Topp, and Irene Topp; and two brothers: Kenneth and Vernon Topp.

Donna was a 1948 graduate of New Bremen High School, and received her Associate Degree from Miami-Jacobs Business College, Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys. She was a homemaker and retired bookkeeper.

Donna enjoyed flower gardening and following the Cincinnati Reds. She was much loved by her family, and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street Chapel, St. Marys, Ohio. The Rev. Dr. Ed Bray will officiate the services. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, Ohio.
