David Lankford Obituary

David N. Lankford, 59, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died Saturday, December 14, 2019, in Las Vegas.

He was born October 28, 1960, at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, the son of Lewis and Naomi (Lucore) Lankford.

He is survived by his siblings: Daniel Lankford of Las Vegas; Deborah (Jerome) Googeg of New Knoxville, Ohio. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

David graduated from Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming, and he attended college for 2 years in Casper, Wyoming. He was employed at Motorola in Las Vegas, where he repaired and installed radio systems.

He enjoyed drag racing, and restoring his classic Chevy Nova, fishing, camping, bowling and listening to music.

Private family funeral rites will be held at a later date in Las Vegas.

Miller Funeral Home, Saint Marys, is entrusted with David’s funeral arrangements.
