Vivian June Miller, 94, of Hilliard, Ohio, and formerly of Massillon, Ohio, died 5:20 A.M. Friday, May 27, 2016, at Dublin Methodist Hospital.

She was born June 6, 1921, in Bowerston, Ohio, the daughter of Cletus and Beatrice (Bowers) Cutcher.

She married Anthony W. Miller in April of 1945, in New York City, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1985.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Bob) Hinschlager of Saint Marys, Ohio; by her five grandchildren: Peter (Lauren) Renner of Johnstown, Ohio; John Renner of Marysville, Ohio; Joel Renner of Dublin, Ohio; Mark Renner of Delaware, Ohio; Leah Renner of Saint Marys; by two step-grandchildren: Jennifer Schwarck of Washington, D.C.; Victoria (Daniel) Elwood of Salem, Ohio. She is survived by a great-grandson, Luke Renner.

 

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her siblings Joseph Cutcher, Eugene Cutcher, Betty Wingate, Lane Cutcher, and Joyce Kimble.

She was a 1940 graduate of Massillon High School.

She retired from the Power Cleaning and Maintenance Company. She was a longtime member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Massillon, and more recently attended Zion Lutheran Church in Saint Marys. She enjoyed making ceramics, was a great cook and was a homebody devoted to her family.

 

Graveside burial rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Forest Hill Cemetery, North Canton, Ohio.
