Paula L. (Reed) Bowersock-Nagel

Paula L. Bowersock-Nagel, 68, of 818 Gethsemane Avenue in St. Marys,OH died 11:20 p.m. Friday March 9, 2018 at her residence. 

She was born August 31, 1949 in Kodak, KY to Roy and Kate (Sumner) Reed. 

She is survived by:

Son, Todd (Mary) Bowersock  of Hillsboro, OR

Daughter,  Annette (Dennis) Phalen  of Lima, OH

5 Grandchildren:  Kyle Lewis, Hannah Bowersock, Courtney (Bill) Hawkins, Destiny (Matt) Sidener, Austin Phalen.

3 Great-grandchildren:  Joslynne, Carson, Colton

Sister, Janice Johnson  of Columbia City, IN

Sister, Billie Jean “Mick” Crutchfield of Columbia City, IN

Brother, Bob (Helen) Reed  of Columbia City, IN

Sister, Anna Mae (Steve) Lawman  of Laurens, IA

Sister, Karen Russell  of Luverne, AL

Sister, Carol Parks of St.Marys, OH

Former husband, Dale Bowersock  of St.Marys, OH 

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Kate Reed; husband John “Noodle” Nagel; brother Lowell Johnson; brother Fernando Pearl Reed. 

She was retired from the former Lininger’s Carry Out in St. Marys. 

Her favorite pastime was decorating, and then, re-decorating her home. 

A devoted mother and grandmother, her world revolved around the activities of her precious family. 

Rites are scheduled to begin 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 13, 2018 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Pastor Patrick Bayman will officiate the services.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
