Nancy Ann Banios (Connerty) of Troy, OH, fell asleep after an extended illness on Sunday, July 16, 2017, and waits for Jesus to awaken her at his return.

Nancy was born June 24, 1952, in Boston, MA, to the late Wilfred and Grace (Horigan) Allen.  She is preceded in death by her first husband Francis M. Connerty, sister Judy Walsh, and brother John Allen.  She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Craige Banios, and children: Suzanne (Mike) Glover of Hilliard, OH; Tim (Cassie) Connerty of Georgetown, TX; Stacey (Jim) Klein of Temperance, MI; and Meghen (Larry) Fry of St. Marys, OH.  Step-children: Monica Hallgren of Rosemount, MN; Michael Harkins of Dayton, OH; and Kaia Banios of St. Paul, MN.  She also leaves 14 grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Three sisters also remain:  Patricia (Richard) Barclay of NC, Louise (Edmund) Nazzaro of MA, and Mary Beth (Albert) Siekman of NC; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancy graciously served God and His people for the last 19 years as the Executive Secretary for Christian Family Fellowship Ministry.  She was a living example of The Virtuous Woman of Proverbs 31 in all aspects of her life.  A loving wife, mother, sister, and more than a faithful friend to all who knew her.

Family visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Christian Family Fellowship Ministry, 1575 St. Rt. 571 West, Tipp City, OH 45371, Rev. Tonia Shroyer officiating. Please make gifts and contributions to the Christian Family Fellowship Ministry.
