I didn't know Louis, but his wife was one of the most influential teachers in my life. Mrs. Comus was my fourth grade teacher at West school- I won't say what year... She taught us to pray the Lord's prayer every morning, I now realize at a risk to her career. She encouraged me to join the spelling bee. She was a kind hearted person as I am sure Louis was. You have my sympathy.

I heard about this passing from my dear friend , John Andreoni . and I do want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you in the Comus Family and also. to those precious people in St. MARYS, Ohio.. I grew up there and knew this family very well.. Dessie was so much fun and so was Louie. they were dear friends of my parents . BERNIE and JANE PARKER . There was never a dull moment in either of these families and we all went to the Same Church and DADDY and LOUIE were MASONS . both were involved in many things in the Community but, GOD always came first and of course , Country and our families.. Thank you for those memories of my years of living in St. MARYS . and the Dairy Queen , the Parades , the Bible studies at the Church and just everything Fabulous . I even know where the grave sight is as I went there last year when my Mother ,, JANE died. One thing . Louie and Dessie and Bernie and JANE and many others from that old fashioned small town are up there with many of the other Angels who watch over us MORE THAN WE KNOW . BE BLESSED and keep your WINGS LEVEL . as for Me. , I will keep all of you in PRAYER as I have for most of my LIFE .. and do so appreciate those of you who remember my DADDY and Mother . and the Other Parkers who lived in your area . Stay Vigilant and never forget that Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with GOD and lovely people like LOUIE and DESSIE .. I hope you will Pray for their souls and I send you much LOVE and kindness to all of YOU . kindest regards, JILL PARKER SNOW . ORANGE BEACH , ALABAMA , USA .

What a fine man., We were next door neighbors of Dessie and Louis for many years.
They were wonderful generous people. We enjoyed their friendship.
