Fred A. Harter, 70, of 223 S, Koenig Road in St. Marys, OH died 4:12 p.m. Tuesday March 7, 2017 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys, OH.

He was born July 24, 1946 in Greenville, OH to James and Virginia (Holdeman) Harter.

He is survived by: brother Jack (Ginger) Figel, Sr. of Ocala, FL

                              brother James Harter of St. Marys, OH

                              niece Rosemary (Terry) McElroy of St. Marys, OH

                              nephew Chris (Lori) Figel, Sr. of Ocala, FL

                              nephew Matt (Wendy) Figel of Hillsboro, OR

                              nephew Jackie (Dawn) Figel of Celina, OH

                              numerous great- nieces and great-nephews

Preceded in death by: father James Harter; mother Virginia Decker

Mr. Harter was disabled.

He enjoyed playing cards, video games, Yahtzee, puzzles and barbecues with his family.
