Ellen L Weadock

Ellen L. Weadock, 98, of St. Marys, OH died 12:5 p.m. Saturday February 17, 2018 at Otterbein – St. Marys.

She was born October 14, 1919 in Sidney, OH to Francis and Ella Marie (Ike) Cook.

On March 17, 1946 in Sidney, OH she married Paul Weadock, who died November 10, 1968.

Survivors include: son Paul Craig (Aggie) Weadock of Wapakoneta, OH

                             daughter Joycelyn (Michael) Brandon of Vandalia, OH

                             grandson Donald Paul Weadock of Wapakoneta, OH

Preceded in death by:  parents Francis and Ella Marie Cook; husband Paul Weadock; daughter Johanna Weadock (1971); brother Robert Cook; sister Donna Boblit

She was a graduate of Sidney High School (Class of 1937).

She was a homemaker and retired from the Hudson Jewelry Store in downtown St. Marys.

She was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church and the Business and Professional Women organization in St. Marys. In earlier years, she had been active as a Girl Scout leader.

Rites are scheduled to begin 2:00 p.m. Friday February 23, 2018 at Meyer Community Chapel of Otterbein – St. Marys, with the Rev. Darcy Boblit-Dill, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.

Visitation 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street Chapel) in St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be directed to either Otterbein Benevolence Fund or Grand Lake Hospice.
