Eleanore I. Price, 90, of St. Marys, OH died Saturday April 16, 2016 at Otterbein – St. Marys.

She was born November 3, 1925 in Kenton, OH to Albert and Henrietta (Vondenhuevel) Weaver.

On July 20, 1946 in Minster, OH she married James E. Price, who died September 8, 1985.

Survivors include: son Jim (Barb) Price  of Wapakoneta, OH

                              daughter Kathy (John) Kipp  of Anna, OH

                              daughter Pam (Steve) Tenyak  of St. Marys, OH

                              son Jerry (Deb) Price  of Northglenn, CO

                              10 grandchildren   27 great-grandchildren

                              sister Pat (Rollie) Griner  of Tampa, FL

Preceded in death by: parents Albert and Henrietta Weaver; husband James Price; an infant son; sister Irene Knostman; brother Elmer Weaver; sister Rosie Westbecher; brother Bob Weaver; brother Donnie Weaver; sister Barb Griner

She was a graduate of Minster High School (Class of 1943).

She retired from Auglaize Co. Office of Civil Defense, and had also worked at the former Buchanan’s Department Store in downtown St. Marys.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church (and its altar-rosary sodality), and American Legion Post #323 auxiliary.

Her favorite pastimes included making crafts, quilting and playing cards.

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 21, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street I St. Marys.

Private family burial will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery, in St. Marys.

Visitation 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Auglaize Co. Council on Aging.
