My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve during this time of suffering. I met Ciera when she was 8. I worked at Movie Gallery in Celina, where she and her mom would come on a weekly basis. I adored her. She had so much energy. She smiled and giggled. She was intrigued by every movie box. I was 21 then and I remember thinking, "If all kids are like Ciera, life would be so much better." Her mom and I struck up a friendship over the next few years. I'll never forget the smiling face that turned from a little girl to a teenager. Ciera made me smile and laugh more times than I can count. After her mom passed, I tried to keep up with Ciera on social media. I prayed for her. I can tell she grew up into a young woman who loved her daughter the best she could. I hope that you all know I never dreamed when I first met her back in 2002 that her earthly life would be so short. But she touched many lives. She left an impact. A story. It won't be forgotten. May God be with you during these difficult times. You are in my prayers.
