Alice Faye Anderson, 75, of 5151 Co. Rod. 33-A in St. Marys, OH died Monday October 10, 2016 at Celina Manor Nursing Home.

She was born January 9, 1941 in Marion, NC to Albert and Mildred (Finley) Anderson.

Survived by: Sue La Point of St. Marys, OH

Preceded in death by her parents.

She was a graduate of Glen Burnie, MD High School (Class of 1959), Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Il (Bachelors degree of Vocational Education), Webster University in St. Louis, MO (Master’s degree in Procurement).

A career military woman, she retired from the United States Air Force, having earned the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Her time of active duty included tours of duty during the Viet Nam War. She also later retired from the federal government, where she worked as a civilian procurement officer.

Her favorite pastimes included fishing and crocheting.

Private services will be held.

Burial, with full graveside military honors, will take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.
