Lois L. Wood, 82, of 04893 McKinley Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 10:30 P.M. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at her residence.
She was born January 5, 1929, in Mendon, Ohio, the daughter of David and Mabel (Mutersbaugh) Boroff.

She married David Wood on May 19, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1997.

She is survived by her five children: Lana Boos of Saint Marys; Michael (Glenda) Wood of Delaware, Ohio; Deborah (Richard) West of Lima; Pamela McKee of Springfield, Ohio; Teresa (Brad) Pyles of Saint Marys; by six grandchildren: Samuel West; Amanda West Spees; Joshua Boos; Christopher Wood; Jennifer Wood; Katie McKee; by five great-grandchildren; by her siblings: Ruth Smith of Celina; Frances Armstrong of Saint Marys; John Boroff of Spencerville; Helen Boroff of Mendon.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law, Ronald Boos; siblings:Paul Boroff; Evelyn Boroff; June Boroff; Lauree Overly. 

She was a 1947 graduate of Mendon Union High School. She retired from K-Mart in Saint Marys and was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ where she had served as a Deaconness. She will be remembered as a very loving mother and grandmother. 

Private graveside burial rites will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery, Saint Marys, the Reverend Dr. Ed Bray, officiant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to either the Endownment Fund of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ or Grand Lake Hospice.
