Imelda R. Wilker, 85, of 125 N. West Street in St.Marys, OH died 3:42 p.m. Friday February 6, 2009 at the JTDM Hospital in St.Marys, following complications of surgery.
She was born October 12, 1923 in St.Peter, Oh to Anthony & Rose (Miller) Siegrist.
On July 9, 1949, she married LeRoy L. Wilker, who died December 8, 1995.
She is survived by:

¨ Son Robert L. Wilker of St.Marys, OH
¨ 5 grandchildren: Donald Weadock, Denny (Lena) Mihm, Matthew (Karen) Mihm, Anna . Marie (Michael) Peterson, Robert J. Wilker
¨ 5 great-grandchildren: Katie & Jonathon Peterson; Austin, Cody & Courtney Mihm
¨ Brother Edwin (Mary) Siegrist of Ft.Recovery,OH
¨ Sisters-in-law: Delores Siegrist of Ft.Recovery, OH, Rose Siegrist of Ft.Wright, KY, Jane Wilker of Montezuma, OH
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Shawn Wilker; brothers: Otto Siegrist, Odilo “Shorty” . Siegrist, Urban Siegrist, Ivo Siegrist,; sisters: Leona Schmidt, Barbara Kneutzjanz, Celine Homan..
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its ladies sodality, VFW Post # 9289 auxiliary, American Legion Post # 323 auxiliary, all in St.Marys. She and her husband had enjoyed fishing together at both Grand Lake St.Marys and Lake Erie.
A devout Catholic, she spent countless hours making rosaries that were donated to various missions, prison ministries and members of the military.
She also served many years on the funeral luncheon committee at her church. Above all, she was a loving wife mother and grandmother, and a very loyal friend to all those who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled 11:00 a.m. Wednesday February 11, 2009 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5111 E. Spring Street in St.Marys, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery, in St.Marys
Visitation 4 -8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Holy Rosary Catholic School.
