Curtis L.  Wierwille, 94, formerly of 06761 CR 33A, St.Marys, OH, died 9:45 p.m. Thursday, October 25,2007 at Joint Township Hospital in St.Marys, OH.

He was born September 10,1916 in New Knoxville, OH, the son of Lewis and Dorothy (Gruebmeyer) Wierwille.

He married Martha Garwick on June 4,1949; she preceded him in death on February 29, 1997.

He is survived by:

¨ Sister, Lois Henning, St.Marys, OH

¨ Rachel Kruse, New Knoxville, OH

¨ Numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a sister, Agnes Vohs.

Curtis was a 1934 graduate of St.Marys Memorial High School.  He retired from the Superior Tube Company after 32 years of service, where he had been a toolmaker.

He was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St.Marys, OH.  He enjoyed traveling, reading Popular Mechanics Magazine and doing all kinds of mechanical work.

He was a skilled woodworker and made furniture for his family.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, October30, 2007 at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville, OH.

Friends may call from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High St., St.Marys, OH.  Memorial donations may be directed to Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St.Marys.
